These companies have also provided professional advice on automation solutions at the exhibition.
The Special Exhibition Area for Green Manufacturing and Smart Manufacturing in Metalworking, which is co-organized by the Green Manufacturing Branch and the Intelligent Manufacturing Branch of China Machinery Industry Federation, has presented China’s latest scientific research results and successful applications in green manufacturing and intelligent manufacturing.
The Shenzhen Advanced Manufacturing Pavilion, which is cooperated with a number of industry associations in the Greater Bay Area, has served as a platform for excellent small and medium-sized advanced manufacturers in core parts and components, key basic materials, advanced basic industry, industrial technology foundation, and basic software to compete with their bigger counterparts.
Mutual promotion between the AMTech and the AMC
The Advanced Manufacturing Conference (AMC2021) has been held concurrently with AMTech2021. At the main forum, Professor Li Peigen of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, who is also member of the CAE and chairman of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, delivered a keynote speech called Digital Transfomation deepen reform in Enterprises; Dr.-Ing. Wilfried Schäfer, executive director of the VDW, delivered a keynote speech called International umati Activities and the Economic Situation of the Machine Tool Industry In and Outside Germany; and Mr. Douglas K. Woods, president of the AMT, delivered a keynote speech called Digital Transformation Technology - The Only Way to the Development of Manufacturing. Focusing on “Digital Transformation Technology Empowers Global Manufacturing”, a round-table discussion was chaired by Sun Xitian, chairman of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Advanced Manufacturing Industry Alliance and former chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Machinery Sub-Council. Prof. Dr. Gisela Lanza, member of the Management Board of the Institute of Production Science (wbk), Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and head of the Production System Department, Lucas Bretz, general manager of the Global Advanced Manufacturing Institute, Yang Gang, president of TRUMPF (China) Co., Ltd., Chen Jihong, chairman of Wuhan Huazhong Numerical Control Co., Ltd., Shan Yaodong, vice president of Yamazaki Mazak (China) Co., Ltd., Shen Feng, executive vice president of NIO and chairman of North American Auto Professional Association (NAAP), and Chen Yiping, vice president of Rootcloud Technology Co., Ltd. delivered their insights during the discussion. The heated discussion livened up the activity venue.
During the three-day event, the AMC also held four high-quality technology sub-forums: Digital Processes and Solutions in the Automotive Industry, New Applications of Advanced Manufacturing Technology in Aerospace and Transportation, Forum on Robotics - Intelligent Manufacturing Empowered by Machines, and New Trends of Advanced Manufacturing Technology in Digital Medicine.
